Jennifer Harris

Jennifer Harris worked as a Lactation Consultant and Registered Nurse for over thirty-five years. She worked in a busy hospital in the maternal, pediatric units and NICU. Once retired, she aims to share her knowledge and experiences to help other parents. Her first book The No-B.S. Guide to Breastfeeding covers the normal expectations of new parents but also deals with unique situations she encountered in her practice. Her second book, Whisper their names. The journey to peace after losing your child Is a collection of personal and professional experiences. It contains the true recollections of many mothers who have lost a child. The losses she covers are not only death, but loss from estrangement, divorce, adoption, and addiction. The book offers hope that you can live your life with happiness despite your grief. Her aim is write "books that matter". Her goal is to get her books in every library.
